This is my first time using the laser treatment in removing hairs. After my treatment, red spots appeared in my chest. Then my dermatologist applied an aloe vera gel and it made the area cool and was a big relief.

Hi, jeffrie, thanks for your comment, yes laser hair removal can be successful depends on the skin structure and the hormones. It is advisable to apply aloe vera gel on the lasered area to prevent burns and keep the skin cool and protected.

I have had Laser Hair Removal. A very long time ago, and it was performed at my dermatologists office. Yes, it was painful but they did give me a cream tho apply 1 hour prior to reduce that. I had no side effects at all outside of some redness that lasted about an hour. The treatment was very successful. I would like to mention that Laser Hair Removal shows it’s best result on dark hair. As a licensed Esthetician, I would recommend having this procedure done by a medical facility.
