The growing uterus is now just above the pubic bone. Any sickness should be diminishing, as should frequency of visits to the toilet.
The amount of blood in the body increases and heart, lungs and kidneys begin to work harder.
Food takes longer than usual to pass through the body, and this may cause constipation.

Uterus is only slightly enlarged, but the breasts grow and may feel itchy and tender.
Fluctuating emotions and extreme tiredness are common and some women start to suffer from morning sickness ( which can occur at any time of the day).

Although the pregnancy only starts to show towards the end of this trimester, major changes take place in both mother and baby. As well as a missed period, the first signs of pregnancy for many women include:

Feeling nauseous
Going off some foods and longing for others
Noticing a metallic taste
Tingly or tender breasts
Frequent toilet visits
Increased tiredness
Increased vaginal [...]

Changes take place in a woman’s body at the moment of conception and continue for about 38 weeks, by which time the baby is ready to be born. A pregnancy is divided into trimesters (three parts of roughly equal length).
